How to get to East China Normal University (ECNU)

Situated on the estuary of Yangtze River, Shanghai serves as the most influential economic, financial, international trade, cultural, science and technology center in East China. Also it is a popular tourist destination, visitors can sense the pulsating development of modern China.
In addition to its modernization, Shanghai's multicultural flair endows Shanghai with a unique glamour. Here, one finds the perfect blend of cultures, the modern and the traditional, and the western and the oriental. New skyscrapers and old Shikumen lanes together draw the skyline of Shanghai. Western customs and Chinese traditions intertwined, form Shanghai's culture, making a visitor's stay truly memorable.
Shanghai features many interesting tourist attractions, museums and famous landmarks.

The city is a tourist destination renowned for its historical landmarks such as the Bund and City God Temple, and its modern and
ever-expanding Pudong skyline including the Oriental Pearl Tower. Today, Shanghai is the largest center of commerce and finance in mainland China, and has been described as the "showpiece" of the world's fastest-growing major economy.

The city is divided into two parts by the Huangpu River: Puxi (west of the Huangpu River) and Pudong (east of the Huangpu River). Puxi is the older part of the city and hosts the majority of shops, restaurants and museums. Pudong is the modern part, and is recognized for its rather unusual yet extremely impressive high-rises such as Shanghai's tallest buildings, the Shanghai International Financial Center, Jin Mao Building and the Oriental Pearl TV Tower.

Walk along the Nanjing Road where anything and everything is for sale. The Jade Buddha Temple is one of the most famous in Shanghai with the white jade Buddhas in recumbent and seated positions. Yuyuan Garden is the largest of the ancient gardens in Shanghai and is particularly well known for the Grand Rockery. Take a boat trip down the great Huangpu River that flows through Shanghai and is a tributary of the Yangtse. Longhua Pagoda and Temple are some of the oldest sights in Shanghai and are set in beautiful gardens in the city.

The Jin Mao Tower is the fourth highest in the world and a great place for panoramic views of Shanghai.

Visitors to Shanghai will enjoy wonderful Chinese cuisine and a city rich in history and culture.

There's a lot to see and do in Shanghai , and the greatest feature of these attractions is that these places are absolutely diverse. No place in Shanghai is similar to another, and therefore visiting everywhere becomes a wholly new experience.
